Vegas is calling my name...

Ok....so this is me in a ridiculously unflattering Hannah Montana wig - making my daughter laugh - while my chicken n' dumplings are boiling over on the stove behind me...without a clue! However...it is very fitting - it happens to be exactly how I feel right now: strung out, crazy and not totally all here...lol.

Oh my goodness...what a day...week....month!?

A call from your the teacher of your (generally well-behaved) son saying that he is distrupting class and has been having problems a few days is not a nice way to wake up from a nap. I know...who has time for a nap. Actually I didn't go to sleep until 8:15 this morning so it was sleepy time. (sigh)

Ally's party - a success...for the most part. See the post above for the pics...they are awesome! I am still trying to plan for the Vegas trip which is obviously at the forefront of my mind. I really need the getaway! It will be nice to be virtually worry free for a few days...

Until then...I still have to finish packing for my self, finish packing for the kids to spend the week with their grandmother, get my nails done, work all day Saturday and hopefully....squeeze in a pedi. We'll see...

On to a really positive note - I finally got my confirmation from Stampin Up! that my order is on the way!! On a bad note - it will arrive while I am in Vegas...ofcourse. At any rate it is something to look forward to when I get back.

Ok...so I'm working on the social networking portion of the business this afternoon (Twitter, Facebook, etc.) Tonight I am going to update my current stamp set list so it will be ready to share with my customers when I get back from Vegas.

Until then...I just hope I don't have to remind myself to breathe...there is just not enough time!

A brand new day...

Ok....so here it is - a brand new day. It is 2:28 in the morning and I am sitting in my bed brainstorming for the next 10 days. There is so much to do! Ally's birthday party is tomorrow at 6 pm. I am still not feeling well - and working today made me feel worse. :( I have to really get started on marketing OU (Options Unlimited) so that I can begin making the big bucks! :) Then there is packing and planning for my trip...to VEGAS baby! :D And then there is also getting the kids ready to spend a week with their dad and grandmother for the week I am gone... Man, I am going to miss them... On to the plans...

Just to sum it up... OU is my home based business that is 2 parts. Let me explain... When I decided that I wanted to start working from home again I couldn't decide if I was going to stick with the Virtual Assistant thing or go back to teaching Scrapbooking and Paper Crafting...so I decided to do both. With Options Unlimited I can focus 1/2 my work time on marketing my business services and the other 1/2 using my artistic desire to focus on my creative side!

My plan for this week is to finish my brochure's, flyers and info sheets for the business service side and create some ID badges for the creative side. Once I have finished that I am going to start my marketing campaign and cross my fingers for fast results.

As for my trip... we leave next Sunday (March 1st) at 2:15 and I need to pack and prepare for my trip by Saturday night... so much to do... but tomorrow is a brand new day and I am looking forward to dressing my little girl up in her princess outfit (including the tiara) and heading to Putt Putt for cake and ice cream! :)
